GETTING THERE
By Car
The simplest way to travel to our villa is to fly to Athens airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) which is around 90 minutes' drive away. From the airport, we would recommend you hire a car as it would enable you to visit many places of interest near the villa.
It is a very straight-forward drive and we will provide you detailed directions and/or precise co-ordinates that you can enter into your sat-nav or smartphone to guide you to the front door.
Please note that there will be 3 tolls to pay on the motorway so ensure you have some Euros with you.
By Train
If you wish to use public transport, you can travel to/from the villa by train direct from Athens Airport. The nearest stop is in a village called Zevgolatio, a few kilometres from the villa. Tickets cost around €20 return. Trains from Athens Airport to Zevgolatio run at 09 minutes past the hour from 05:09 to 22:09. The train journey is about 90 minutes duration.
Again, we will provide you with detailed instructions on taking the train when you book and we can arrange for a taxi to pick you up from Zevgolatio train station and take you to the villa. (This will cost around €7 or €8)
